ARPPA devices are remote-assisted terminals designed as service points in which an agent attends to users individually, in a secure and confidential environment, in accordance with the nature of the service.

ARPPA allows two people, the user and a remote agent, to see each other and converse naturally through a screen, similar to how they would normally in person.

The agents delivering the service are all real people (not avatars).
The ARPPA operator carries out all operations requested by the customer (the terminal is 100% “piloted” by the agent, i.e. the customer does not need to do anything).
The terminal does not take up excessive space and can be installed in any location.
ARPPA Technologies is responsible for the design and manufacture of the terminals, which are completely adapted to the needs of the client and the service, including people with disabilities.

Mobility Sector

ARPPA Transport Terminals are an alternative to ticket sales offices. ARPPA is able to offer all services provided without the need to have physical employees on-site. A customer approaches a terminal and touches the screen to open a session between them and an agent, who is remote, but both see and hear each other (our solution is also suitable for people with any type of disability: blind, deaf or in a wheelchair, and we have obtained certifications in this regard). The customer does not have to navigate any menu or do anything: everything is done by the agent and they are the ones who control the terminal and control all the devices incorporated in the equipment.

In 2023, following a contract signed with Renfe Viajeros, ARPPA has installed terminals for the provision of remote assistance service in stations (ARES) with a network of over 160 terminals located in train stations distributed throughout the Spanish territory. These offer the ability to provide complete information and transactions efficiently and effectively.

Purchase and Top-up Tickets:

Users can buy public transport tickets directly from the terminal, as well as top-up transport cards such as for metro or bus cards.

The terminals can display information about public transportation fares, as well as any discounts available for different user groups, such as students, senior citizens, large families, etc.

Users can use the terminals to plan their trips using public transport, obtaining information about the best routes and connections available.

Terminals can display important notifications about service interruptions, route changes, special schedules and special events that affect public transport, etc.
